Denmark is Happiest

The happiest country in the world is Denark. I would have guessed Norway or Belize, but this is just as good. When I think of Denmark, I usually think of blondes that eat lots of pastries and cookies. When we were kids, we always ate cookies from Denmark. They came in round tin containers with pictures of a quaint European village.

But I guess there’s more to Denmark then deserts. Not to mention, it’s still very sweet to be Danish. As mentioned from Reuters the reason behind this state of contentment is, “its democracy, social equality and peaceful atmosphere.” Definitely important in any country, to have the ability to be heard and feel safe in their homes and city.

Cris Benton of Kite Aerial Photography took this beautiful photo of Copenhagen, Denmark. I like the contrasting colors of the roofs , the green of the trees, and the blue of the river and horizon ahead.

The study was done by surveying 350,000 people. Ingelhart and his team published it’s result in the journal Perspectives on Psychological Science. “Ultimately, the most important determinant of happiness is the extent to which people have free choice in how to live their lives,” Inglehart told reporters at Rueters. I can agree with that! And for those people who think acculmating more money means you want to be greedy, they are wrong! Because to me, money means being about to have a better standard of living (if used wisely and for good investments).
